About Us

The Boujee Bee was born in 2019 right in the heart of New Orleans, starting at the corner of Paris Avenue and St. Bernard Avenue in the historic 7th Ward. Originally named The Pretti Kitti, the salon was as a passionate dream to bring top-tier self-care to our local community and quickly grew into a movement. The original offerings included full body waxing and v-steam services. Driven by a commitment to excellence, integrity, and results, our salon expanded across the region—growing through more than five locations, from LaPlace to Gretna, to better serve our clients across the Greater New Orleans area.

In 2022, The Boujee Bee closed all locations, but later reopened in 2026 under the partnership of Charla Lee-Taylor and Angel Shulterbrandt to offer a full range of medical aesthetics services, blowdry bar services, and IV hydration.

Co-founded by Charla Lee-Taylor (MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, Licensed Esthetician) and Angel Shulterbrandt (Experienced Medspa Co-Owner, Multi-Million Dollar Real Estate Producer & Investor), The Boujee Bee bridges the gap between advanced clinical science and pure luxury.

Dr. Adeeb Rohani, MD

Medical Director, The Boujee Bee

Dr. Adeeb R. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and experienced Medical Director of multiple clinics with comprehensive clinical experience spanning primary care, mental health, urgent care, addiction-related care, holistic​/​functional medicine, hormone replacement​/​regenerative medicine, aesthetics, and chronic disease management. His practice background includes both outpatient and inpatient medicine, high-volume urgent care settings, multidisciplinary primary care environments, and extensive telemedicine work. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Adeeb R. has served as a Medical Director, providing leadership in clinical oversight, quality assurance, workflow optimization, and provider performance management. His work reflects a commitment to whole-person, evidence-based care with additional specialization in obesity medicine, hormone therapy, functional medicine, and integrative approaches to long-term health.

Charla Lee-Taylor, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Charla Lee-Taylor is a highly credentialed healthcare provider and beauty specialist serving as the Founder and Co-Owner of The Boujee Bee. Holding a Master of Science in Nursing, board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), and a license in Esthetics, Charla combines extensive clinical knowledge with a passion for aesthetics.

At The Boujee Bee, Charla leads with a client-first philosophy centered on safety, science, and sophistication. Her dual background in advanced nursing and skin care enables her to design elevated, custom care plans that prioritize long-term skin health and wellness while delivering a premiere studio experience.

Angel Shulterbrandt

Co-Owner | Real Estate Investor & Medspa Owner

As a multi-million dollar real estate producer, real estate investor, and experienced medspa co-owner, Angel Shulterbrandt brings energy, integrity, and business acumen to The Boujee Bee.

Known for her work in the New Orleans Metropolitan area as a trusted advisor and member of the National Association of Realtors®, Angel excels at turning high-stakes transactions into seamless, stress-free experiences. She brings that same dedication to relationship-building and operational excellence to The Boujee Bee. Outside of her business ventures, Angel loves traveling and spending quality time with her family.
